Until such studies have been done on a large scale, it might be best to err on the side of caution. He ended the lecture with, “My wife’s a dentist – she knows how to take care of her teeth, and even she had problems.” Fantastic! … I have a water pik so I would try to use it atleast once a week, but honestly after having the baby my teeth just dont look as white, nor does my mouth feel as healthy.
There are several steps you should follow while you are pregnant to insure good oral hygiene. Brush thoroughly at least twice a day, preferably in the morning and before bed. If possible, brush after every meal for at least two minutes at a time and floss every night. You can whiten your teeth after you have your baby.
